British Classic Yacht Club

As if belonging to two yacht clubs isn't enough. Well, it might be fun to belong to a few more - or at least to the BCYC.

The British Classic Yacht Club was established in 2001 with the intent of providing a congenial environment for owners and other classic yacht enthusiasts to share experiences and enjoy each other’s company. The officers of the BCYC reach well beyond their classic point of view and are actively involved on many levels regarding the continued development of classic yachting.

The BCYC fleet now consists of 80+boats. Their annual regatta is held in Cowes in July. In addition they maintain a full program that includes racing, cruising and social activities in the Solent, and on the East Coast (UK), including the popular East Coast Classic Regatta in early June.

The British Classic Yacht Club's classic regatta is one of the stops on the Panerai tour. Their press release is via this LINK."
