Panerai Regatta Dates - Only Classic Yachts Need Apply

Ok - it rained most of Easter weekend, so we didn't get to varnish; howver, we did get up to speed on some of the international classic yacht regattas planned for 2011. Is there a regatta you know that's not on our list? We'd love to hear from you.

In case you are damned and determined to win one of those amazing PANERAI watches (and we are!), here is the 2011 calendar. Luminor, Radiomar, Marina- oh yes, talk to me Marina - we do dream of these beautiful watches as the official time piece of Nor'easter IV. With a black leather strap to match her glossy black hull.

We know you'd also like a sexy and dependable watch for your collection, but you need to know where the party will be so you can get your glossy classic to the line. And to win a PANERAI you're going to have to step up your game along with classic owners from the 14 other countries who now read this blog.

• MAHON, VIII COPA DEL REY DE BARCOS DE EPOCA 24 - 27 August 2011
• NEWPORT, MUSEUM OF YACHTING CLASSIC YACHT REGATTA 2 - 4 September 2011
• VELE D'EPOCA A PORTO ROTONDO 8 - 11 September 2011
• CANNES, RÉGATES ROYALES 17 - 24 September 2011

NB: Even though the watch will be given away in Cannes on Sept 17th, many of America's finest classic yachts will be racing in Greenwich and having a fabulous time. This year, we will rely on our trusty TIMEX Ironman for a perfect countdown. In the meantime, we'll be varnishing so we're ready for our close-up!
